Writing citizens into a national AI strategy.
A national government drafting its AI and digital-infrastructure strategy said plenty about investment, computing power and skills, and nothing about what ordinary citizens would get back. Everyone agreed trust was the biggest risk. Nobody had a way to earn it.
We worked with the strategy team to write the missing half. It rested on one simple question asked of every big project, what do people get back?, and produced new rules for buying AI and a public scoreboard so citizens can see the benefit rather than just be promised it.
